The Unusuals Adam Goldberg
The Unusuals Adam Goldberg, who plays Detective Eric Delahoy, is a familiar face to most as he has been in front of or behind the camera for almost 20 years. Born in Santa Monica and raised near Miami Beach by Jewish and Roman Catholic parents, Goldberg is known for his neurotic characters. Adam had several small parts in cult classic movies like Dazed and Confused, Son in Law and Higher Learning before he gained acclaim for his role in Steven Spielberg’s epic Saving Private Ryan as Private Stanley Mellish. Adam appeared on award winning TV shows like Friends, ER and NYPD Blue in the late 90’s. The multi-talented Goldberg then wrote and directed the features Scotch & Milk and I Love Your Work. Recently Adam has had TV roles in sitcoms Joey and Entourage but he has also focused on launching a music career with his band LANDy this year. Now Goldberg finds himself at the center of the new police dramedy “The Unusuals” playing Detective Eric Delahoy who is trying his best to die on the job in the Big Apple.
Adam developed his love for acting in local workshops as a teen and later attended Sarah Lawrence College in Yonkers, NY where he was active in campus theatrical productions.
